Moxgate-CV 228.5 (Dispersible Amoxicillin & Potassium Clavulanate Tablets BP) by Healthgate is a broad-spectrum pediatric antibacterial formulation. Combining an aminopenicillin (Amoxicillin) with a beta-lactamase inhibitor (Clavulanic Acid), it effectively overcomes bacterial resistance. It is indicated for the treatment of pediatric respiratory infections (such as otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, and pneumonia), urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by beta-lactamase-producing pathogens.
Synergistic Antibacterial Action: Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis while Clavulanic Acid inactivates beta-lactamase enzymes, preventing antibiotic degradation.
Child-Friendly Dispersible Form: Disperses easily in water for convenient administration to infants and young children.
