Nosecone® 3% (Sodium Chloride Inhalation Solution USP 3% w/v) by Healthgate is a hypertonic saline inhalation therapy designed to clear airways and improve mucus clearance. By increasing the osmotic pressure in the respiratory tract, it helps draw water into the mucus layer, thinning thick and sticky secretions to facilitate easier coughing and airway clearance. It is indicated as an adjunctive therapy for respiratory conditions characterized by heavy mucus production, such as bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis, and bronchiectasis.
